A bit about me.
I've spent 15+ years designing and running the infrastructure platforms engineering teams build on: Linux and Kubernetes systems, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and the secrets and identity layer that ties them together. I like the problems at the seams: getting thousands of services to provision, authenticate, and deploy consistently without slowing anyone down.
At Disney Streaming I own the secrets management platform, a HashiCorp Vault deployment across 7 global regions serving ~4,400 secrets a day to 900+ teams, and I drove a capacity redesign that cut CI/CD cloud spend by 88%, from $1.1M to $135K a year.
Where I've worked.
15+ years across streaming, fintech, enterprise SaaS, and telecom.
Platform Engineer, Security
2021 – PresentI lead platform and secrets initiatives for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN: 900+ teams and 8,000+ services across EKS, AWS, and on-prem. I own the secrets domain, running a HashiCorp Vault platform across 7 global regions with workload identity that eliminated static credentials across CI/CD, plus a self-service automation layer on FastAPI, SQS, and Lambda. I moved CI/CD onto Kubernetes-backed ephemeral runners and cut AWS spend 88% ($1.1M to $135K/year).
Lead DevOps Engineer
2020 – 2021Led a team of five to build a greenfield secure cloud platform on Azure, with identity, secrets, and service mesh on Vault, Consul, and Terraform + Sentinel policy-as-code. Automated firewall policy across Palo Alto and F5 and onboarded 50+ teams, cutting platform onboarding time by 80%.
Senior DevOps Engineer
2018 – 2020Owned the HashiCorp platform stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault) as core production infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and on-prem, spanning 7 regions and 14 datacenters supporting 100+ services. Built hybrid mTLS networking through Consul service mesh, scaled to 3,000+ containers, and reduced manual operations 50% with Ansible, Go, and Packer.
Senior Linux Administrator
2015 – 2017Ran infrastructure for SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud: 1,500+ servers at 99.9% uptime across global datacenters. Diagnosed and resolved GPFS and NetApp NFS performance issues for in-memory database workloads and tuned Linux kernel networking for scale-out HANA clusters.
Senior Linux Administrator
2014 – 2015Administered 300+ Linux servers in an on-prem datacenter and led a VMware vCloud/vSphere virtualization migration that cut hosting costs 30%.
Software Release Engineer
2010 – 2014Automated deployment workflows across 40+ middleware clusters and served as escalation point for critical production incidents in a large enterprise environment.
